Bush TV stopped working - No power. Hi everyone, My Bush TV (LEDFHDDVD) randomly turned itself off with no indication of any problems prior to it happening. I've had it a couple of years and not had any problems whatsoever.
Usually the standby light turns on when it is plugged in but that doesn't even appear anymore. Jul 25, Bush tv won't turn on, LED flickers 6 times. history = sent bush tv won't turn on, LED flickers 6 times. history = sent to tv repair man with software update sent out from argos uk, update worked for 2 weeks and back to square 1 again 4/5(K).
Please try disconnecting the set from power, then press and hold the power button on the TV itself (not the remote), for 10 seconds and release. Then plug the set back in and press power once. Let me know if anything changes.4/5. A TV that cheap from Argos really will not last long at all. The Bush name, even though that company has not existed for 25 years, has always been associated with crap electronics.
If reliability is the winning factor for you, go for either Sony or Panasonic TVs and no-one else, but even then, these companies are starting to outsource cheap.
Feb 17, Feb 18, #1. Hi, I have a BUSH BTVDB TV/DVD combo and when I plug the power cable into the plug and turn it on all I get is a Red light.
I have tried pressing power button from the panel on the TV and from the remote itself which does not do anything at all. I insert a DVD into the DVD drive and it does spin however the light is. Aug 23, Hi guys/gals-have a 24 inch Bush DVD/TV combi-3 years old & not used much-it's a bedroom tv.
The other morning the power just went off-no standby light at all.
Changed fuse in plug-tried a different electrical socket-did the 'power down/up' thing as advised by Argos technical Helpline (hold standby button in-unplug 30 secs-keep holding standby. Aug 22, 1. Unplug TV from mains. 2. Insert USB in to the LOWER socket. 3. Plug TV mains back in while holding OK on remote.
The TV should start flashing slowly but then speed up whilst holding ok on the remote until the firmware has been rebooted. you will then get the installation screen back on to reinstall the firmware.
